She pursued formal education in herbal medicine and earned her Medicinal Plants Certificate from Cornell College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and went on to study with Herbal Roots. Her comprehensive training covered areas such as botany, plant identification, herbal preparations, and clinical applications of herbal medicine.
